PRESENTING a GORGEOUS 20th Century and MONUMENTALLY LARGE original oil on canvas by M. Picot.

This is a BEAUTIFUL still life painting of fruit in classical style.

Continental School.

We understand that the artist was one, Madeline Picot, who was a Dallas based artist in the mid to late 20th Century (but we believe she was originally French), born in 1957.

The scene depicts grapes on the vine, peaches, squash, plums, pineapples and flowers on draped or posed on a stone/marble table or bench.

GORGEOUS colors, oranges, reds, green, peach, plum, yellow etc. beautifully painted by a very talented hand.

Ms. Picot, was no ordinary painter, as this painting exudes real quality and expertise. We are of the opinion that this is a late 20th Century piece.

Signed on the bottom left.

In lovely original custom giltwood frame.

The custom frame alone, would cost over $2k to buy, new.
